Boris Johnson has triggered plan B Covid measures in England. From Friday, masks will be a legal requirement in most indoor areas and there is guidance to work from home where possible from Monday.

The NHS Covid pass, which is still available with two vaccination doses, will be made mandatory at indoor venues with large crowds from next week and the prime minister stressed the need for booster vaccines to protect against Omicron
