Hazard reduction burns have continued in the Blue Mountains today. This is the view of the hazard reduction at Woodford from our news chopper this morning.

People with existing heart and lung conditions are advised to take precautions from lingering smoke, including to follow their doctor’s advice about medicines and follow their asthma management plan if they have one; monitor air quality; avoid vigorous outdoor activity when it’s smoky; stay indoors and keep doors and windows closed until the smoke clears; ensure pets are in a protected area; as well as avoiding indoor sources of air pollution, such as cigarettes, candles and incense sticks.
