Window vs Flood

RT published this video item, entitled “Window vs Flood” – below is their description.

This video of a Sochi resident’s double glazing demonstrating the resilience of a submarine window is going viral. Even though it’s not an #AD, people are asking where they can get their hands on these marvellously durable windows, seeing as they could withstand the force of the subtropical floods.

At least they did for a while… Unfortunately, the house eventually got a double glazing of murky slosh, as the floods smashed the glass and destroyed the property’s interior.

The floods were caused by heavy rain during thunderstorms, which made rivers rise to dangerous levels in the former Winter Olympics host city.

Emergency services have sent out a warning to locals to prepare their documents and basic necessities for a possible evacuation.
