Why Ohio is crucial to win the 2020 US election

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Why Ohio is crucial to win the 2020 US election” – below is their description.

When it comes to US elections, analysts say it is Ohio that predicts the winner. Known as the bellwether state, it has picked the winning candidate in 30 of the past 32 presidential elections. Both parties have invested heavily there, with the belief that winning Ohio means winning the United States. Polls show Joe Biden and President Donald Trump in a dead heat in Ohio, where Trump won handily in 2016. But that was before the coronavirus pandemic and a wave of economic shutdowns. Al Jazeera’s John Hendren reports from Cleveland, Ohio. –
