The head of the World Trade Organization says global trade is growing at a “disappointing rate”. Roberto Azevedo is calling on world leaders to take action. The WTO has slashed its trade forecast for this year, expecting growth of 2.8 percent, down from a previous forecast of 3.9 percent. It is yet another sign of a gloomy outlook for the global economy. France 24’s Markus Karlsson spoke to Roberto Azevedo.
