The head of the World Health Organization on Wednesday called for a moratorium on administering booster shots of COVID-19 vaccines to help ensure that enough doses are available in countries where few people have received their first shots. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki responded by saying that “It’s a false choice and that we can do both.”
