Which UK regions are most likely to face a COVID-19 lockdown?

The North and North West have some of the highest coronavirus infection rates in England – in contrast to the South West.

Blackburn with Darmen is one of the worst-hit areas in Lancashire, with 763 cases per 100,000 people.

When lockdown was imposed in Leicester, the infection rate was 1,019 cases per 100,000 people.
