What’s behind the dispute between Saudi Arabia and the UAE? | Inside Story

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “What’s behind the dispute between Saudi Arabia and the UAE? | Inside Story” – below is their description.

A recent dispute at an OPEC+ meeting, has exposed the growing strains between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The Emirati government strongly rejected a Saudi-led deal to raise production beyond the cap set for early next year.

The UAE blocked the agreement calling it ‘unfair’ and demanding an increase in its own production.

The two Gulf countries have differed on a number of issues in recent months.

So what impact will this breakdown have on the region?
