Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “What is at stake in Niger’s presidential election runoff?” – below is their description.
Voters in Niger are heading to the polls to choose the next president in a runoff election.
The first round of polling failed to produce a clear winner to succeed President Mahamadou Issoufou.
Whoever wins will need a coalition to govern and both candidates have been negotiating with smaller parties.
Al Jazeera’s Ahmed Idris reports from Abuja, in neighbouring Nigeria.
