Biodiversity and climate change are closely interlinked, David Malpass, president of the World Bank, said during the Ministerial Plenary Session of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity on Tuesday.

“It is in a context of crisis that we meet at this segment,” said Qu Xing, director general at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), another of the speakers at the event.
