What can you expect when pubs, bars and restaurants reopen? | ITV News

The re-opening of pubs and restaurants is a milestone many of us have been looking forward to – but the experience will feel significantly different.

We’ll be asked to give our name and contact details, so we can be traced if there’s a confirmed case within 21 days.

The music will be low to prevent spreading the virus as people shout over it.

And the government wants ordering to be done by an App whenever possible.

Staff in masks will bring drinks, food and cutlery to the table – no more self-service.

And they’ll bring any condiments in sachets – the familiar vinegar and tomato ketchup bottles, banished.

But they are only guidelines and firms might have their own way of interpreting them, as Stacey Foster reports from Leicester.
