Western Australia seeks cap on international arrivals into state | ABC News

The WA Premier says he’s asked the Federal Government to place a limit on the number of flights arriving into the state from overseas.

Mark McGowan says he’s also ordered the drafting of legislation that would require anyone returning from overseas to pay for their own time in hotel accommodation.

And Mr McGowan has also asked the Prime Minister to withdraw Federal support for Clive Palmer’s High Court challenge to WA’s closed state border, arguing it’s ridiculous for Scott Morrison to support a closed NSW-Victorian border while challenging the hard WA border at the same time.
