    The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip appears to be holding despite small clashes, following the truce on May 21, 2021. Since the Egyptian-brokered deal took effect, Palestinians have started trying to rebuild their lives after 11 days of hostilities that left more than 200 dead and thousands homeless.
