1 thought on “‘We have nothing’: Afghanistan in crisis with 9 million people on brink of famine | ITV News”

  1. ITN News at 10 last night was harrowing in the extreme and almost made us weep.

My emotions were difficult to hold back last night when I watched this news item.
It was a mixture of great empathy for those suffering such hardship, day in day out; great sadness, and a sense of despair that in a world of plenty, such misery could be inflicted on already desperate people.

This is a form of daily cruelty for thee dear, innocent people; a kind of physical and mental torture.
