Whichever brand of treadmill you use, it is clear you should not have it active with your unattended children nearby. Injuries may also occur while parents are using fitness equipment. Parents should consider carefully if their children may be injured by their fitness equipment while they are using it; or if children are unattended and are able to access the equipment without parental supervision.

The advice is clear: lock your fitness equipment away from children when it is not in use. Make sure children cannot be hurt while you exercise.
