NASA has rescheduled the launch of the Artemis I mission for Saturday, September 3. The second attempt to launch the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft on an orbit around the moon, comes after the first try was scrubbed on Monday due to an engine issue. The Artemis I mission is the beginning of a program that will aim to return humans to the moon and eventually land crewed missions on Mars. NASA is targeting 1817 GMT for the launch of Artemis I, the first integrated test of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, Orion spacecraft, and the ground systems at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. There is a two-hour launch window for this attempt.
