    Boris Johnson will deliver a statement in the House of Commons at around 12.20pm on the latest coronavirus developments in the country.

    It comes as the a minister confirmed Covid-19 hotspots are popping up in the UK.

    Environment Secretary George Eustice said the Government does not know what is causing the spikes – 28 in England, four in Scotland and two in Northern Ireland – in parts of the country.
