There is only one #China in the world, and #Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at a press conference in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on Friday night.

Wang Yi pointed out that it’s a complete rumor and slander that the U.S. said China has changed the status quo in the Taiwan Strait.Wang Yi said that Taiwan is a part of China and has never been a country.

“The People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China. This is the real status quo of the Taiwan question. Now it is the United States and separatist forces in Taiwan that have broken this status quo,” Wang Yi said.

“If Sun Yat-sen were still alive, he would also say that Tsai Ing-wen is an unworthy descendant,” Wang Yi added.
