Vladimir Putin says Russia has approved world’s first coronavirus vaccine | ABC News

Vladimir Putin says Russia has given regulatory approval to a locally developed vaccine for COVID-19, after less than two months of testing on humans.

He also claims one of his daughters has already been inoculated.

Experts have raised concerns about the vaccine, which is yet to be tested as rigorously as a number of other candidates around the world.

The World Health Organization says it has to meet its standards for wider approval.
