Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko has called on the West to stop paying for Russian energy, calling it “blood money”.
Speaking on the six-month anniversary of Russia’s war on Ukraine, the former boxing champion also told Sky News his country was fighting for Europe’s independence.
He said Ukraine wanted to “build a European country” with “democratic values, human rights and press freedom”.
