The Virgin Hyperloop carried passengers for the first time during a test trip in the US state of Nevada on November 8, 2020. Hyperloop is a form of transport being developed to carry people in a vehicle that travels inside a vacuum tube. Two Virgin employees made a 500-metre (1,640ft) journey in just 15 seconds aboard the hypersonic train.
