Dozens have been killed in a series of raids on communities in Zamfara State in Nigeria’s northwest. The region has seen a worrying spike in attacks from gunmen recently. Our correspondent Sam Olukoya brings us more. Also, France is defending the military takeover in Chad in the wake of the late president’s battlefield death, but the country’s opposition says that current arrangements are dangerously fragile. And, Ivorians are doing more of their shopping online. By 2025 e-commerce is expected to account for 10% of all sales. Our correspondents meet businesses profiting from the trend.
