The White House’s chief medical adviser Dr Anthony Fauci says top US health officials are considering changes to advice about masks. Currently vaccinated Americans aren’t required to wear masks, but some states have now reinstated indoor mask requirements. It comes as infections are rising in all 50 states. Professor Nancy Baxter from the University of Melbourne tells The World while she doesn’t expect infection numbers to reach the same highs as last year, more people definitely need to get vaccinated.
