A vigil is being held in Solihull to remember six-year-old Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

Sky’s Dan Whitehead describes the “upsetting and moving occasion” as people release balloons into the sky.

The boy, from Solihull, West Midlands, was poisoned, starved and beaten by his father’s girlfriend Emma Tustin, 32, and his father Thomas Hughes, 29, in a prolonged campaign of “evil abuse”.

Hughes was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 21 years in prison.
