Sky News Australia published this video item, entitled “Victoria’s second wave ends with no active cases” – below is their description.
Victoria has officially become COVID-19 free with the last active case cleared of the virus. The final patient, a man in his 90s, was discharged from the Monash Medical Centre on Monday after battling the virus in hospital for more than a month. The man’s release marks the first time Victoria has had no COVID-19 patients in hospital since February 21. The first case reached Melbourne on January 24 after a man flew to the city from Wuhan. State Premier Daniel Andrews said Victorians should be proud of recording no active or new cases.
