Restrictions in Victoria will ease further from 11:59pm Thursday 24 June, and the plan is these will be in place for two weeks. 15 people can visit homes statewide, outdoor public gatherings are up to 50.
There’ll be crowds of up to 25,000 for this week’s AFL games – and that will increase again in a week’s time all going well.
Up to 300 people can attend weddings and funerals. Importantly masks will remain mandatory indoors – even with more people allowed to return to the office. There’ll also be greater numbers in pubs and hospitality venues.
Victoria’s Acting Premier James Merlino outlines some of the eased restrictions.
