    Police have arrested two men and a 16-year-old boy as part of a joint counter-terrorism operation in Melbourne.

    Police will allege a 19-year-old Epping man attempted to engage in a terrorist act.

    A 20-year-old Epping man is still in custody, and a 16-year-old Pascoe Vale boy was released pending further inquiries, a police statement said.
