South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Vending machines in Thailand make Covid-19 treatment more accessible for mild- symptom patients” – below is their description.
Some hospitals in Thailand have installed vending machines for Covid-19 patients with mild or no symptoms. After being discharged from hospital, patients can pick up medicine and self-testing kits before continuing self-isolation at home. Thailand reported a sharp rise of over 26,000 daily Covid-19 infections on April 6, 2022, with fatalities approaching 100. Despite the surge, the country announced a plan to declare the pandemic an endemic disease by July and ease travel requirements for foreign tourists.
