    US President Joe Biden has announced a September 11 withdrawal date for US troops from Afghanistan.

    FRANCE 24 correspondent Nanna Muus Steffensen, says it remains to be seen how the Taliban will react. The group has previously said if the US did not honour its original May 1 deadline set by former President Donald Trump, it would consider the peace deal as breached.
