US prisons are so horrific they saved Julian Assange | #PollyBites

RT published this video item, entitled “US prisons are so horrific they saved Julian Assange | #PollyBites” – below is their description.

Julian Assange isn’t going to America! (He’s not leaving prison yet either, the US is appealing the decision not to extradite and Assange has been deemed a flight risk by the UK court…something about a 7 year stint in an embassy…)

The British judge ruling on the extradition case did the right thing – for the wrong reasons. Apparently, the Wikileaks editor shouldn’t go stateside NOT because of anything like freedom of the press, or the US case being politically motivated, nooooooo. The only reason Assange isn’t going to America is because US prisons suck. And as RT’s Polly Boiko explains, they really DO suck.
