US President Donald Trump paid no federal income taxes in 10 of the last 15 years, tax return data obtained by the New York Times shows. Mr Trump, who has fiercely guarded his tax filings and is the only President in modern times not to make them public, also paid just $US750 ($1064) in taxes in 2016 when he was elected, and in his first year in the White House. He campaigned for office as a billionaire real estate mogul and successful businessman.
