The US will donate 750,000 doses of coronavirus vaccines to Taiwan, according to three US senators who arrived on the island for a visit on June 6, 2021. Taiwan has been struggling to control an outbreak that began in mid-May. Less than three per cent of the island’s population has been vaccinated to date.
