In his first UN speech as President, Joe Biden stated the United States was ‘opening a new era of relentless diplomacy of using the power of our development aid to invest in new ways of listing people up around the world.’

Speaking to the United Nations general assembly on Tuesday, the President also touched on his country’s withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan and the Covid-19 pandemic.
