US election: Trump renews call for “poll watchers” at New Hampshire campaign stop

Global News published this video item, entitled “US election: Trump renews call for “poll watchers” at New Hampshire campaign stop” – below is their description.

U.S. President Donald Trump campaigned in the critical state of New Hampshire on Sunday, telling his supporters that his re-election campaign will have people watching the polls “like crazy” on election day. “Both law enforcement and yourselves and everybody,” he told a large crowd at an airport in Londonderry near the city of Manchester. Republicans are mobilizing thousands of volunteers to watch early voting sites and ballot drop boxes leading up to November’s election, part of an effort to find evidence to back up Trump’s unsubstantiated complaints about widespread voter fraud. Some voting-rights activists are concerned such encounters could escalate in a tense year that has seen armed militias face off against protesters in the nation’s streets.
