    Officers were out in force following two days of protests in the city of Philadelphia over the fatal shooting of a black man by police. The Democratic candidate said peaceful protests over Walter Wallace Jr’s death were reasonable, but violence was not. According to family lawyer Shaka Johnson, the father-of-nine’s relatives had called for an ambulance rather than the police to get him help with a mental health crisis.
