U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and former president Barack Obama hit the campaign trail together for the first time by holding the first of two drive-in rallies in the state on Saturday. Biden once more took the time to slam Trump’s COVID-19 response, before saying Trump likes to “portray himself as a tough guy” yet claimed the president “acts like Vladimir Putin’s puppy,” saying despite reports bounties had been put on the heads of U.S. military members, the president “never mentioned it” in the six times he spoke with Putin. Obama propped up his former vice president, saying Biden would not “screw up testing” or call scientists “idiots,” as Trump reportedly did when discussing Dr. Anthony Fauci.
