The United States continues to struggle to contain the world’s biggest coronavirus outbreak.
Infections are surging in many parts of the country, including Arizona, Florida and California.
There have been 3.7 million cases nationwide, and more than 140,000 deaths.
But President Donald Trump has downplayed the epidemic – falsely claiming in an interview that the US has one of the “lowest mortality rates in the world”.
Trump’s handling of the outbreak will likely be a key issue with voters in November’s presidential election.
