US cinemas screen Orwell classic in anti-Trump protest

The classic novel 1984 by George Orwell is once again a best-seller in the US. Nearly 200 cinemas held screenings of the film version of the book as a form of protest against President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

There is growing concern the dystopian world foretold by Orwell could be realised under Trump’s presidency.
