US braces first total eclipse in a century

Astronomy buffs in the US are getting in prime position for a rare celestial event to grace their skies.

Next week, on Monday, a total eclipse will track its way across the entire United States for the first time in a century.

It will start in Oregeon and end in North Carolina, bathing cities in darkness across the aptly named “path of totality”.
