Tens of thousands of airlines workers are out of a job in the United States after Congress failed to reach a last-minute stimulus deal. As many as 50,000 aviation staff face an uncertain future as the travel industry continues to be hit by the coronavirus pandemic. It is estimated that air travel is down 70 percent and may take years to recover. Al Jazeera’s Andy Gallacher reports. –
