Unprecedented leak exposes inner workings of UK Labour Party

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Unprecedented leak exposes inner workings of UK Labour Party” – below is their description.

Al Jazeera has obtained a significant leak of documents from Britain’s opposition Labour Party.

The files expose the inner workings of the organisation during one of its most turbulent eras, from 2014 to 2021.

The first batch of files appears to reveal how party officials undermined their newly-elected Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn.

Al Jazeera’s Phil Rees, from our Investigative Unit, reports.
