Universities Australia is warning the sector could lose 16 billion dollars in revenue over the next four years as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Universities Australia has released new figures, suggesting a lack of international students studying locally will continue to harm its institutions’ bottom lines for many years to come.
It also warns a substantial portion of Australia’s research is in jeopardy, with up to 3.5 billion dollars of university research and development activity annually could be at risk.
