Two United Nations agencies have warned that the spread of the coronavirus pandemic has led to a dramatic fall in the numbers of life-saving child vaccinations around the world, which could lead to a spike in deaths from illnesses that could have easily been treated. “We are talking about three big diseases: diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus”, FRANCE 24’s international affairs editor Philip Turle reports.
