This Assembly will look like no other as the United Nations responds to the COVID-19 pandemic with masks, distancing and other safety measures. For the first time, most leaders will address the high-level general debate by video. Officials are calling for a strong recovery that helps fulfill the goals set out in the Paris Agreement on climate change and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
