The #UnitedNations says it was adopting a no-contact approach while delivering supplies to #Tonga, six days after the South Pacific archipelago was hit by an undersea volcanic eruption and subsequent tsunami. Meanwhile, Tongan Olympian #PitaTaufatofua, who was the country’s flag bearer at the past three Olympic Games, has raised over half a million Australian dollars to deliver aid.
