One in five young people who were put on furlough during the first lockdown are now out of work, according to a new report – with youth unemployment now at its highest for 40 years. Thinktank the Resolution Foundation said people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds were just as likely to have been laid off. With so much depressing news and continued uncertainty about the future, it’s taking a huge toll on mental health. So what’s the best way of trying to cope?
