Three electrical substations have been struck by Russian missiles in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.
Andriy Sadoviy, the mayor of Lviv, said late on Tuesday that airstrikes had damaged electricity and water networks, cutting off power in some districts and causing considerable damage to property.
Photos showed firefighters battling the inferno, with smoke billowing into the sky.
