UK urges public to remain vigilant after Manchester attack

The British government is urging the public to remain vigilant after Monday’s blast at the Manchester Arena that killed 22 people and injured dozens of others.

The national threat level has been downgraded and major sporting events went ahead on Saturday, with tight security.

Al Jazeera’s Nadim Baba reports from Wembley, where fans of Arsenal and Chelsea – two top English football clubs set to take part in a match – were met by armed police and bomb-proof vehicles.
