UK to sail its largest warship through a tense South China Sea

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “UK to sail its largest warship through a tense South China Sea” – below is their description.

The HMS Queen Elizabeth is carrying out the United Kingdom’s most extensive naval deployment in a generation.

The aircraft carrier, accompanied by a flotilla of navy ships, will sail through the South China Sea, parts of which are disputed.

China, which has laid claim to large parts of the South China Sea, sees this so-called “freedom of navigation exercise” as a provocation.

Al Jazeera’s Florence Looi reports from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
