Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “UK royal funeral: Prince Philip laid to rest in Windsor” – below is their description.
Text:
Britain’s Prince Philip has been laid to rest in the Royal Vault at Windsor Castle, just outside London.
The Duke of Edinburgh died at the age of 99 last week.
It was a relatively low key affair, with attendance kept to a minimum because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Before the pandemic, there were plans for 800 guests, but only 30 carefully chosen royals and representatives were allowed to attend.
Queen Elizabeth II, setting an example amid the pandemic, sat alone at the ceremony on Saturday, dressed in black and with her head bowed in prayer.
Al Jazeera’s Neave Barker reports from Windsor, UK.
